Well I've decided to strike up a journal here. I haven't really been doing too much with myself these last few weeks (in a writing sense), so I'm thinking that, maybe if I talk about it somewhere, I can overcome the writer's block I've encountered and actually get something down.

The problem is by co-writer/beta's computer got fried earlier this week during the nasty storms East Texas experienced, so now she's off the grid until she can get enough money to buy herself a laptop. In the meantime, all her work is lost, and I'm pretty much without a clue.

The premise of the story we were writing together is this: what would happen if a rapist, a serial killer and a conman traveled together? It's slightly twisted, I know, but it's turning out to be really good. Well at least I think it is. The problem with this is we didn't create the characters together. It was more like we created the rapist and serial killer indiviually and collaborated on the conman. But she's the one who made the rapist, and as the story progresses, he's becoming more and more important and I can email her or IM her about him because of her freaking computer!!

It's not looking too good.
